Abilene is home to 5 golf courses: Abilene Country Club, Fairway Oaks Country Club, Diamondback Golf Club, Dyess AFB Golf Course, and Maxwell Municipal Golf Course. You’ll also find a full roster of community and college sports, as well as first class tennis facilities. Abilene has 29 city parks totaling over 1,200 acres and offers a varied collection of modern facilities to meet the diverse needs of the community.
